Our Story
Peninim Designs is a contemporary jewellery brand based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Our family connection to the jewellery trade reaches back to Zurich, Switzerland, where the owner's mother has approximately 40 years of experience working with pearls, and where the family has a connection to a small jewellery boutique.
Today, that heritage informs a youthful, approachable Johannesburg studio and online store — combining thoughtful craftsmanship with modern style. We do not claim that every piece is manufactured in Switzerland; handmade, assembled and sourced jewellery are distinguished with care.
